Unfiltered [ADD]

The searching, the insecure girl, the lovers, the naughty boy, the old man and the one who cannot cope. With the help of these fictitious characters I focus on my personal associations to ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder).

The series represents mood reflections. I carefully analyse the symptoms which I recognize in myself. The first result is this work which shows the great variety and emotional complexity of the effects of ADD right across the ages. Others can grasp this opportunity to dive into the wealth of facets which this fascinating disorder offers.

The images are cross-developed. The resulting disruption in colour representation creates a stronger presence of the images and intends to indicate that “being different” can be positive, adding to life.

Der Suchende, das unsichere Mädchen, der freche Junge, der alte Mann, die Liebenden und der Überforderte. Mit Hilfe dieser fiktiven Charakteren fokussiere ich auf meine sehr persönlichen Assoziationen zu ADS (Aufmerksamkeits- Defizit-Syndrom).

Die Bilderserie ist geprägt von Stimmungsreflektionen. Sorgfältig analysiere ich die Symptome an mir. Das Resultat ist eine Arbeit, welche die Vielseitigkeit und emotionale Fülle von ADS quer durch alle Altersklassen zeigt. Aussenstehende erhalten so die Möglichkeit in den Fassettenreichtum dieser faszinierenden Krankheit einzutauchen.

Die Bilder sind einer digitalen Crossentwicklung unterzogen. Die daraus resultierende verschobene Farbwahrnehmung, schafft eine stärkere Präsenz und zeigt, dass Anderssein durchaus eine Bereicherung sein kann.
